April 16th brought us a quiet kind of magic. Spring had just settled in, the kind of morning where everything feels soft around the edges, and Artemis welcomed three healthy little boys into the world. Avalanche, of course, gets credit for the other half of the equation.
This is Artemis at her best. Steady, attentive, completely at ease with her babies tucked close. Motherhood has always come naturally to her, and this litter is no exception.
What makes these three so much fun is how different they already are. The first boy is a brown spotted stunner, absolutely loaded with glitter, the kind of coat that catches light from across the room. The second is a snow lynx, pale and ethereal, those blue eyes just starting to peek through. The third is a snow mink, warm in tone and calm in temperament, content to watch his brothers cause the chaos. Same parents, same litter, three completely different vibes.
Their eyes are open now, and the world is suddenly full of shapes and sounds and brothers to climb over. They stretch, they wobble, they pile together for naps, doing the important work of becoming themselves.
The timing on this litter feels especially sweet. These boys will be heading to their forever homes right around the 4th of July, joining their new families just in time for fireworks, cookouts, and that easy summer feeling of everyone gathered together. A pretty perfect weekend to start a new chapter.
